RAYMOND ALBERT DUDDERAR
Class of 1942
Raymond Albert Dudderar

At 160 pounds, A1 Dudderar was a 60-minute performer at center. He capped his career in 1941 as the top center in the state, first team All-State as selected by the Associated Press and Maryland football coaches, and honorable mention Little All-American.

Coach George Ekaitis said he was not only the top center, but the best athlete he coached during his time at Washington College. A driving, vicious tackler at linebacker, he had excellent speed and an expert sense for diagnosing plays.

For his size he was a phenomenal player, and for any size he was a star performer.
